Software Development Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to contribute to the design and development of high-quality software solutions. This role will play a key part in our engineering team, working on exciting projects that drive business growth.

This mid-senior level position requires strong engineering skills, critical thinking, and a willingness to engage with new ideas and technical challenges. The successful candidate will have a real commitment to delivering well-engineered solutions that meet customer needs.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience with .NET/.NET Core, C#, and Azure cloud platform. They will also be familiar with event sourced, microservice based architectures and CQRS patterns. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and development of software solutions using .NET/.NET Core with C# or other CLR languages
  • Work with Azure based Cloud experience (Functions, Queue Storage, Blob Storage etc)
  • Implement event sourced, microservice based architectures with CQRS patterns
  • Develop a good understanding of networking and OS
  • Prioritise lean principles over Agile methodologies
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform
  • Familiarity with event sourced, microservice based architectures
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
