Job Opportunity: Indirect Tax Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Lawyer to join our team on an initial 12-month parental cover contract.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect tax, specifically stamp duty and GST, and excellent communication skills. As a member of our team, you will be exposed to clients and work on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting.

You will also collaborate with peers across other practice groups within the firm, providing opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and work on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting
  • Collaborate with peers across other practice groups within the firm
  • Provide high-quality advice to clients on tax matters
  • Work closely with highly regarded partners and senior practitioners

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' post-qualified experience in tax matters
  • Strong academic record
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong client service focus and work ethic
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
