Job Title: Lawyer 2-4Pqe - Indirect Tax (12 Month Parental Leave Cover)
We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our team on a parental cover contract. As a member of our tax group, you will have significant exposure to clients, assisting and working on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting.
The role involves specialising in indirect tax, stamp duty and GST
You will work closely with highly regarded partners and senior practitioners
Assisting on complex transactions and providing advice to clients is a key responsibility
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and peers is essential
About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in taxation law
At least 2 years' post-qualified experience in tax matters is required
GST and/or stamp duty experience is necessary
A strong academic record is expected
You must be able to prioritise time across multiple busy matters
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential
