Product Design Lead

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the end-to-end design strategy for our web and app experiences.

This role presents an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on customer outcomes and business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Visionary: Set and execute the overarching design strategy, ensuring every touchpoint aligns with brand and customer experience goals.
  • Journey Leader: Define and drive UX and Product Design across discovery, engagement, checkout, and post-purchase for web and app.
  • Design System Champion: Evolve and maintain a scalable, consistent, and brand-aligned design system across all platforms.
  • Quality Uplifter: Maintain and raise the bar for usability, accessibility, and conversion-optimised design.
  • Team Inspiration: Lead, coach, and develop a talented team of Product Designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and experimentation.
  • Cross-functional Collaborator: Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Insights, and Customer Service to deliver unified, customer-first experiences.
  • Business Outcome Driver: Use evidence-based UX insights and user research to influence product strategy, prioritisation, and customer perception.
Requirements:
  • Deep Expertise: Deep expertise in Product Design, UX, and mobile-first responsive design at scale.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of growing and uplifting design teams.
  • Collaboration Experience: Experience collaborating across design, product, engineering, and brand functions.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strategic thinking with a sharp eye for implementation detail—balancing short-term wins with long-term vision.
  • Strong Capabilities: Strong capabilities in UX research, journey mapping, prototyping, experimentation, and A/B testing.
  • Customer Focus: A passion for customer outcomes and a clear point of view on design's role in business success.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to champion the value of design across the business.
