Operations Manager Role

This dynamic leadership position oversees daily transport operations across the site. As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and timely deliveries to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage transport allocations to guarantee seamless and timely delivery of goods to clients.
  • Coordinate dispatch and ensure accurate consignment of freight, promoting on-time arrival and minimizing delays.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including delivery performance and freight traceability.

As an experienced transport professional, you will have a strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (Co R) principles and safe working practices. You will be responsible for overseeing the allocation process and ensuring compliance with established protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in transport coordination, allocations or scheduling.
  • A solid understanding of operational procedures and best practices.
  • Experience working with sub-contractors and/or third-party logistics providers.
