Your expertise will optimise patient outcomes by implementing strategies that promote the safe and cost-effective use of pharmaceuticals. As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of care through evidence-based practice, ensuring the highest standards of pharmacy service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the organisation, management, and operation of a designated pharmacy area within the hospital.
  • Provide a comprehensive range of high-level pharmacy services, exercising independent and autonomous judgement.
  • Offer expert therapeutic advice to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals.
  • Implement strategies that promote the safe and cost-effective use of pharmaceuticals.
  • Improve the quality of care through evidence-based practice, ensuring the highest standards of pharmacy service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Extensive hospital pharmacy experience, with leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, and experience in providing training and mentorship to staff.
