Job Title: Incentive Compensation Specialist

About the Role:

The Incentive Compensation Manager plays a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining S&T Bank's incentive plans to optimize employee recruitment, retention, and performance. This strategic position partners with line of business leaders to maximize profitability through effective compensation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs and consults on incentive plan design and governance for line of business leaders, adhering to best practices and balancing risk.
  • Develops and documents incentive plan programs, ensuring alignment with business intent and program clarity for participants.
  • Provides expert compensation guidance and recommendations to internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Evaluates effectiveness and competitiveness of existing incentive plans and models potential impact of alternatives.
  • Drafts plans, educational materials, and communications to provide associates, managers, and HR partners with timely and accurate incentive plan information.
  • Audits and analyzes internal compensation practices and policies in relation to relevant regulations.
  • Maintains an updated working knowledge of industry-based incentive metrics, strategies, and standards.
  • Partners to develop and establish incentive governance standards, processes, and training.
  • Leads strategic compensation projects and initiatives horizontally across client groups.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience in a business, accounting, and/or human resources related field.
  • Master's degree in accounting, statistics, business administration, economics, finance, or human resources preferred.
  • 10+ years general business-related experience with 5+ years in compensation, payroll, and payroll system knowledge.
