This Procurement Specialist role is seeking an experienced professional to assume a key position in Canberra.
About the Role- Lead procurement planning, tendering, and contract formation for complex procurements.
- Develop and review strategic contracting correspondence.
- Provide guidance and mentoring on technical and commercial risk principles.
- Design and implement commercial risk mitigation strategies.
- Proven track record developing RFTs in Defence acquisition (ideally comms systems).
- Expertise in negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.
- Understanding of Defence capability sustainment and Offer Definition & Improvement Activities.
- Familiarity with technical/commercial risk and performance management frameworks.
- NV1 Security Clearance required.
- A collaborative and innovative mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and coach others.
- Mid-Senior level professional sought.
- Full-time position available.
