Job Role

We are seeking skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence projects that safeguard Australia's future.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in commercial management, contract management, procurement management, and tenders contracting management. You will work closely with our clients to deliver critical defence projects that protect Australia and shape its future.

About the Role
  • Commercial Management: Provide expert advice on commercial matters, including contract negotiations, price setting, and risk management.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts from inception to closure, ensuring compliance with Defence regulations and frameworks.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process, including tendering, sourcing, and contract awarding.
  • Tenders Contracting Management: Develop and implement effective tenders and contracting strategies to meet client needs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a collaborative team environment. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries.
  • Proven experience working in Land, Communications, Navy, Space or other Defence sectors.
  • Experience with leading and driving acquisition or sustainment commercial, procurement and contract management in Defence.
  • ASDEFCON, Defence Procurement, Commonwealth Procurement or other related Defence frameworks and compliances.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
