Our organization is seeking a qualified Finance Officer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business. This includes performing tasks in administration, customer service, and accounts based work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounts payable/receivable
  • Making credit collection calls
  • Entering data into Excel
  • Using online banking systems
  • Receipting payments
  • General administration duties
  • Debtor management
  • Reviewing operating/rental costs and providing recommendations
  • Monitoring tenant arrears and distributing reminders and statements
  • Managing weekly property cashflows and processing owner payments
  • Assisting in monthly reporting

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need to have stability and experience in a busy property management-based role (2-4 years). Exposure to a similar position in the property industry or financial area will be highly regarded. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, Word and Outlook are essential.
