Service Designer

We're on a mission to revolutionize the way we connect our people and communities. As a Service Designer at TPG Telecom, you'll play a key role in shaping our customer experience strategy and driving innovation across our brands, including Vodafone, TPG, iiNet, Internode, Lebara, AAPT, and felix.

About the Role

As a Service Designer, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to embed customer experience best practices in product and service development, improvement programs, and operational processes. You'll be a customer champion, expert in applying CX methodologies and tools, and a leader in facilitating workshops and identifying customer needs and pain points.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a CX toolkit, including service blueprint templates and customer journey maps
  • Support the application of CX methodologies and tools across people and process
  • Conduct gap analysis and facilitate workshops to identify gaps and opportunities against customer experience standards
  • Highlight priority customer needs and pain points and drive buy-in for improvements
  • Coach others in workshop planning, design, and facilitation, and the use of contemporary tools for documentation
  • Partner with customer insight specialists to create connected environments and share relevant data and insights
  • Provide visibility and maintain a customer experience improvement backlog, linked to customer journey maps
  • Conduct customer research and hypothesis testing in partnership with stakeholders
Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced service industry or organization with rapid change
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across large cross-functional teams
  • Experience in applying CX methodologies and tools with tangible actions and outcomes
  • Customer-centric design experience, including conducting customer research and partnering with agencies
  • Experience driving engagement and buy-in in complex stakeholder environments
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills with consideration for customer, people, process, and system
  • Proven experience of data-driven decision making to achieve targets and KPIs
  • Design Thinking or HCD certification is desirable
