About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our dedicated team. As a Support Worker in our Accommodation Services, you will provide essential assistance to high-needs clients, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.

Our team promotes autonomy and supports residents around the clock, fostering independence within a shared living environment. Your role will involve handling complex situations with empathy and composure, making a meaningful impact on others.

About You:

  • Confident in engaging with clients effectively, building positive relationships, and supporting their unique needs.
  • Resilient and self-assured, able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible, with availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Holder of a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Able to pass a National Criminal History Check.
  • Full COVID vaccination status
  • Experience with high-needs Disability clients
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes (desirable)

Salary:

The successful candidate can expect to receive an award-level salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer salary packaging options, including an Entertainment/Meal Card, allowing you to use up to $2,650 of your pre-tax income per year.
