Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Ministerial Officer to join our Ministerial & Executive Services team within the Office of the Commissioner. This pivotal role involves supporting the Manager of Ministerial and Executive Services by preparing, coordinating, and reviewing essential correspondence and briefings for the Minister for Police. The Senior Ministerial Officer will ensure that all documentation meets the high standards required by the Executive of Legal Aid NSW, the Commissioner, and the Minister.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Drafting and reviewing correspondence and briefings.
  • Ensuring the quality, relevance, and timeliness of all documentation.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to gather necessary information.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of governmental processes and ministerial protocols.

Essential Skills and Experience
A comprehensive understanding of the machinery of government, along with parliamentary and ministerial processes, is essential for this role.
