About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ministerial Liaison Officer to join our team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our Greater Sydney, Planning and Programs Business Services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality support to our Minister, Transport Senior Executive, and Executive Director of Planning and Programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational management and coordination of advice from business units within the branch.
  • Prepare high-quality responses to correspondence, process briefing notes, and offer support services for Parliamentary and Cabinet matters.
  • Establish effective relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the punctuality and quality of Ministerial and Executive deliverables.
  • Coordinate the timely creation of essential documents and materials required for Ministerial and Executive meetings.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in a ministerial liaison office, providing executive support, or functioning as a Department Liaison Officer within a politically sensitive environment that adheres to parliamentary deadlines.

You will also possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and a high level of resilience and attention to detail.
