About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented professional to join our team as an Account Executive for Tableau. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with government stakeholders, identifying challenges, and positioning Tableau as the preferred solution. You will develop strategic account plans, engage with internal teams, and collaborate closely to exceed revenue targets and deliver lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Ownership: Lead the full sales cycle for your assigned federal government accounts—from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong, long-term relationships with key government stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of their objectives and constraints.
  • Territory & Account Planning: Design and execute strategic account plans tailored to the unique structure and needs of the federal public sector.
  • Solution Selling: Communicate Tableau's value proposition with clarity—showcasing its impact on real-world government data challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with BDRs, Solution Engineers, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success to deliver seamless customer experiences.
