As a key member of our Data Analytics Team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our Business Intelligence capability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with stakeholders across the organization to provide business intelligence reporting that informs data-driven decisions.

Maintaining our BI capability involves three main streams: platform administration, data engineering (ETL), and visual analytics (report and dashboard development). Our team has a range of skills and expertise in these areas, and we utilize agile methodologies to prioritize our work. As a collaborative and geographically dispersed team, we rely on technology to support our flexible working culture.

This role has been created specifically to lead the platform administration aspect of our work and to support our data engineering process. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Perform first-level platform administration tasks, including patching, testing, monitoring, and fault checking.
  • Manage complex system administration, troubleshooting, and leading problem resolution.
  • Derive security requirements from business teams and implement appropriate security models.
  • Document technical SOPs and present technical changes in appropriate forums.
  • Build and maintain complex data pipelines using SAS toolsets.
  • Validate ETL and analytical outputs to ensure quality control.
  • Conduct business analysis, developing business requirements in sensitive business areas.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively within a self-sufficient scrum team.
