Job Overview

The role of Business Systems Analyst involves providing significant input into the design, development and ongoing support of our business applications stack. This position will contribute to the delivery of business transformation initiatives working with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and deliver application changes and enhancements.
  • Review and promote improvements to systems-related business processes.
  • Manage workload from applications-related tickets within our Service Desk.
  • Deploy business systems, perform system testing, and resolve bugs/issues.
  • Develop specifications and requirements for applications and software.
  • Contribute as an ICT project team member with business transformation initiatives.
  • Support internal users with general ICT technical requirements as needed.
  • Develop training guides and deliver training to users across the business on reporting platforms and ICT applications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Technology or Information Technology with at least three years experience. You must also have demonstrated experience with specific software and computer languages including Office 365 application suite, database management and data modelling.

  2. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with disciplines outside of ICT.
  3. Creative thinking, initiative, and passion for innovation.
  4. Team player who is flexible and adaptable.
  5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, including cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills

Demonstrated experience with ERP, programming languages, BI tools, application integration tools and strategies is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with manufacturing execution systems, SCADA, and manufacturing floor communication protocols would be beneficial.
