Job Opportunity

  • The incumbent leads the management of bids throughout the entire opportunity and bid management lifecycle to retain and win business in alignment with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing client relationships, identify and pursue new business opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and contribute to growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership team members.
  • Lead and motivate a team, nurturing a positive work environment, set clear goals and objectives to ensure alignment with overall company strategies.
  • Develop and review tender schedules and bid approval documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies and procedures throughout the pre-contract phase.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent significant relevant industry experience.
  • Potable water/wastewater experience is desirable.
  • Understanding of various procurement methods employed by clients and their impact on tender strategy.
  • Ability to work with high levels of confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment appropriate to the position.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Proven business writing experience preferably for tender, bid, or business development projects.
