We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Airswift. As a Project Manager - Residue Area Specialist, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of projects related to residue areas, including dam stability, storage capacity expansion, mechanical conveyors, and water balance improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of projects from early study phases through to construction, commissioning, and handover to Operations.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage customer relationships and ensure that project deliverables meet customer requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks associated with project delivery and asset life.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders, including customers, project sponsors, and other interested parties.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
  • Cost Management: Manage project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Procurement and Contract Management: Manage procurement and contract processes, including tendering, contracting, and contract administration.
  • Project Close-out: Ensure that projects are closed out in a timely and efficient manner, including finalizing project documentation and conducting lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, including experience in managing projects related to residue areas.
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional registration in a relevant field, such as engineering or project management.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong project management skills, including experience in project planning, risk management, and team management. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or project management.
