We are seeking an experienced commercial manager to join our Asia Pacific team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of our growth in the region.

Job Description

This role offers a chance to work on major expansion construction projects across Asia-Pacific, collaborating closely with internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and presentation of detailed budgets and cost models to senior management.
  • Monitoring project adherence to budgets through regular cost reviews and value engineering exercises.
  • Guiding procurement processes for design services, equipment, and contractor agreements.
  • Managing commercial change processes and evaluating proposed changes.
  • Handling contractual claims and disputes.
  • Reviewing project cash flow analytics and earned value analysis reports.
  • Ensuring timely financial close-out and vendor settlements.
  • Leading risk management efforts, including audits and contingency planning.
  • Providing insightful project cost reports to senior management.
  • Ensuring compliance with expenditure limits.
  • Reporting on project status, challenges, and successes.
  • Developing and tracking key commercial metrics.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as construction, business, or finance.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar commercial management role.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other computer applications.
  • Experience in construction as a client, developer, or consultant is advantageous.
