
Australia and New Zealand Payroll Leader

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled payroll professional to take on a leadership role within a collaborative team and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the end-to-end processing of payroll for Australia & New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead a small payroll team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Focus on compliance with local and international payroll regulations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations, increasing productivity and reducing errors.
- Manage complex payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing and maintain effective relationships.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, helping them grow in their roles and develop new skills.
- Assist with regular audits and reporting to ensure accurate payroll records and identify areas for improvement.
- SAP experience is essential for this role, with a proven track record of successfully managing payroll systems.
- Demonstrated experience in processing ANZ payrolls, with a strong understanding of local regulations and best practices.
- Previous leadership experience managing a small team, with a focus on developing and motivating staff.
- In-depth knowledge of AU and NZ payroll regulations, including associated payroll best practices to ensure full compliance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and build effective relationships.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
