Job Summary

This role involves delivering technical support and ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with established procedures and occupational health and safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical assistance and guarantee that all tasks are performed in line with predetermined protocols and workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Administer outcomes by procuring quotes, submitting purchase orders, and maintaining stock levels to ensure consumables, equipment, and teaching resources are readily available for efficient daily operations.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree qualifications and experience or a combination of education and work history.
  • Experience with clinical and simulation laboratories relevant to health professional education and training.
  • Demonstrated understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and its practical application within a laboratory environment.
  • Informed analytical and problem-solving skills to assess shifting priorities and conflicting deadlines, taking corrective action.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills including interpersonal skills, to deliver customer-centric service with positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team in a high-volume setting.
  • Effective computer and data entry skills using the Microsoft Office suite and ability to adapt to the use of new software packages with high attention to detail.
  • Current First Aid Certificate;
  • Current C Class Queensland Driver's license; and
  • Current Working with Children Blue Card.
