We are seeking an experienced Technical Advisor to collaborate with our teams and directly impact the success of our security business. The ideal candidate will enable regional solutions partners and global Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners by translating technical capabilities into compelling joint business value propositions.

This critical role will showcase Dataminr's cutting-edge AI-powered platform to our partners, demonstrating how our real-time event detection and analysis can solve complex security challenges for their clients. You'll foster deep relationships, identify new opportunities for partner-led growth, and contribute to driving mutual revenue growth and expanding our regional footprint in APAC.

As a trusted technical advisor, you'll work closely with Channel Account Managers to co-develop strategies that drive shared success. This includes leading technical engagements with partners, guiding them through solution design, integration, and successful deployment of Dataminr's cybersecurity offerings for their clients.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive Technical & Partner-Facing Experience: 6+ years in a technical client-facing role (Solutions/Sales Engineer, TAM, or product support), with a strong background supporting and enabling channel partners (MSSPs, SIs, VARs) or large enterprise clients in the technology industry.

  • Cybersecurity & SaaS Platform Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity and SaaS platforms, including a strong command of SIEM, SOAR, and TIP applications, endpoint/network security concepts, malware analysis, threat intelligence, and risk/compliance products.

  • Integration & Scripting Prowess: Extensive experience with data integration, API usage, and architecting integrated solutions. Skilled in scripting languages like Python, GoLang, or PowerShell.

  • Compelling Technical Storytelling: Excel at creating and delivering powerful technical presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations for diverse audiences.

  • Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Proactive, self-motivated problem-solver with a detail-oriented approach to delivering exceptional client experiences. Thrives in a collaborative environment, effectively working across Go-To-Market, Product, Engineering, and external partner teams.

  • Geospatial Interest (Plus): Familiarity with ArcGIS is a plus, or willingness to learn and apply geospatial information systems in a security context. Relevant cybersecurity certifications are also a plus.
