Occupational Therapy Position

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with clients of all ages and abilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will develop and implement treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate medical histories and movement and functional abilities of new patients
  • Develop treatment plans based on medical diagnoses
  • Mobilize and manipulate muscles and joints
  • Provide treatment using OT and rehabilitation equipment
  • Give patients exercises designed to strengthen and increase their motor abilities
  • Keep updated patient records detailing all therapy provided
  • Adjust plans and prescribe new treatment as necessary
  • Work with clients in community-based settings, traveling to various locations and working with clients of all ages

Requirements

  • AHPRA registration
  • Membership with professional body
  • Working with Children Check
  • Victorian Police Check
  • Experience in the field (preferred but not essential)
