We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Manager to join our team at FCM, where you will be responsible for managing the travel requirements and presenting travel solutions for NSW Government departments.
As a Travel Manager, you will have a minimum of 2 years corporate or leisure travel consulting experience and possess strong international fare skills. You will be responsible for making professional and accurate business travel arrangements for corporate accounts, including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations.
You will also be required to follow company procedures, account guidelines, and customer service standards in the area of making travel arrangements, ticketing, Phase IVs, ticket exchanges/changes, CRS/GDS productivity.
Additionally, you will need to have GDS proficiency – Sabre highly regarded, excellent communication and professionalism, and the ability to work as a team member and assist other agents as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage travel requirements and present travel solutions for NSW Government departments
- Make professional and accurate business travel arrangements for corporate accounts
- Follow company procedures, account guidelines, and customer service standards
- Have GDS proficiency – Sabre highly regarded
- Have excellent communication and professionalism
- Work as a team member and assist other agents as needed
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Travel Manager who possesses the following qualities:
- A high level of attention to detail
- Experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Manager (min 2 years experience)
- International experience
- To be a 'people person' with networking and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Tertiary education is highly regarded
- Great business acumen
