Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to join our team as a Solicitor/Senior Associate. This role will involve working closely with a strong team of lawyers across the finance practice, collaborating with partners and lawyers across real estate, corporate, and projects.

  • Provide advice on complex and high-value financing matters, including corporate, leveraged, and acquisition finance, real estate and development finance, syndicated and bilateral lending, and transactions involving ASX-listed companies, REITs, and major financial institutions.
  • Act for domestic and offshore lenders, borrowers, and sponsors, cross-border financing transactions, debt structuring, refinancing, and security arrangements, legal due diligence and transaction management, intercreditor and subordination arrangements, and financial services regulatory advice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' legal experience delivering technical advice on a range of finance matters within a top-tier, national, or international private practice environment.
  • Admission to practise in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
  • A proactive approach with a desire to be an integral member of a leading and supportive team.
  • Ability to work to tight timeframes, both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collegial attitude within a team.
