About the RoleWe are seeking a full-time Director of Learning Support to work across both of our campuses, commencing in November 2024. The successful applicant will lead and manage the Learning Enrichment and Program Support (LEAPS) Department, responsible for the delivery of quality educational and developmental support to all students, staff, and families from ELC to Year 12.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the LEAPS Department
- Develop a professional and collaborative approach between LEAPS staff, other departmental staff, College Student Wellbeing Coordinators, parents, and students
- Be responsible for the delivery of quality educational and developmental support to all students, staff, and families from ELC to Year 12
- Develop and implement inclusive education strategies
- Lead a team of administrative support staff
- Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Demonstrate knowledge of best practices in learning support, special education laws, and inclusive education strategies
- Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement
- Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
