About Senior Environment and Sustainability Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Environment and Sustainability Advisor. This position will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on environmental management practices across various projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential environmental hazards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to educate them on environmental best practices and develop training programs to enhance their skills.
  • Evaluate and update environmental risk registers to ensure ongoing assessment and mitigation of risks.

About You:

  • You hold a tertiary degree in environmental engineering, science, or a related field (postgraduate preferred).
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in environmental management, including preparation and implementation of environmental management systems and plans.
  • You possess strong knowledge of State and Commonwealth legislation relating to environmental planning and approvals, environmental licensing, and site environmental management.
  • You have experience in day-to-day management of on-site environmental aspects, including field testing, site inspections, and monitoring requirements within designated areas.
