We are seeking a highly skilled Operations & Maintenance Lead to join our Major Projects team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term operational success of one of the state's most significant infrastructure projects, the Western Renewables Link (WRL).
In this key position, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the handover of built assets from the WRL Project to us.
You will also identify and manage risks related to new technologies, equipment, and maintenance requirements, facilitate coordination workshops and readiness reviews with stakeholders, evaluate contractor designs and methodologies for safety, reliability, and cost efficiency, ensure asset data, documentation, and systems meet our standards and ISO55001 requirements, develop and implement operational readiness plans for safe and compliant asset transition, and provide technical leadership and governance oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need to be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a passion for operational excellence, thrive in complex environments, and bring a proactive, collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have 7+ years of experience in Asset Management, ideally within energy, utilities, or major infrastructure, possess a strong understanding of electricity assets and field operations, proven ability to manage complex handover processes and operational readiness planning, skilled in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and project governance, and excellent communications skills, a personable approach, and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business or equivalent, desirable qualifications include diploma or master of project management, certificate IV in safety, and willingness to continue professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the handover of built assets from the WRL Project to us.
