Our Transmission Project Development team plays a vital role in shaping the future of energy by planning and enabling major infrastructure projects that support the clean energy transition.

Job Description
  • Lead project development from concept to investment decisions: Contribute to the development of Transmission projects with a strong focus on providing critical inputs to business case development.

You will play a key role in shaping project scope, timelines, and feasibility—ensuring each initiative is strategically aligned and set up for long-term success. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

This role requires a proven ability to build collaborative relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders. You will also need to demonstrate success in delivering complex projects to time, budget, quality, and safety standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, plan, and manage the delivery of strategic initiatives and projects across the project development lifecycle.
  • Provide key inputs to business case development, including support for scope definition, cost estimation, risk identification, and scheduling.
  • Deliver on project schedules, milestones, and deliverables with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply proactive risk management practices to safeguard timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Conduct project health checks and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure customer needs, community expectations, and environmental outcomes are embedded in project design and delivery.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across divisions and with external stakeholders.
