Senior Field Service Technician Role

Job Summary:

The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to ensure the maintenance and repair of complex hardware and software systems, including network assets and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment
  • Day-to-day servicing, calibrations, and maintenance
  • Configuration of security systems hardware and software
  • Diagnoses faults and repairs on security head-end systems
  • Software load and configuration of EBI/DVM systems
  • Small to medium project installations, including managing subcontractors
  • Estimates materials costs and quantities and ordering parts

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Electrical or Electronics Associate Diploma or higher (an advantage)
  • Fault finding and repairs to electronic equipment
  • Experience with Honeywell control systems and EBI products in Security, Fire, and HVAC applications (an advantage)
  • Experience with management, repair, and maintenance of IT systems, including hardware and software
  • QLD Security provider and Installer License
  • QLD Corrections Yellow Card and relevant Security Clearance
