Business Partnership Role

The Business Partner plays a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives and fostering collaboration between business areas.

They work closely with senior leaders to identify, prioritize, and develop organizational capabilities that align with the company's objectives.

This involves delivering innovative solutions to enhance people capability and drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business strategy by collaborating with leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, structures, and processes to achieve business goals.
  • Understand the business and its drivers, build relationships with line managers/stakeholders to identify and provide HR input across a range of HR issues and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Oversee the end-to-end Employee Life Cycle of dedicated business areas by providing advice on labour legislation, policies, and procedures and working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth resolution on HR matters to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Manager, drive TA strategies and materials to strengthen the Company's Employer brand.
  • Partner with Learning and Development to work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, career mobility, and job performance.
  • Provide coaching and leadership development support to senior leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership Teams to identify and prioritize talents, with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR Team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • Manage specific projects as determined by the Director in the annual HR plan and contribute to functional and organizational initiatives.
About You
  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources Management and/or equivalent is highly valued.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Partner capacity is preferred.
  • Strong systems knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, reporting, HRIS/Payroll) is essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation are crucial.
  • Prior experience working in a retail/service/medical device environment would be beneficial.
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge of a broad range of HR/IR areas is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships and influence leaders are essential.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into strategic HR initiatives is vital.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex data and set up relevant metrics and KPIs to drive business results is necessary.
