Lead AML Operations Reporting Specialist

A financial crime leader will steer our AML Operations Reporting team. This includes monitoring, triaging, detecting, screening, and ensuring regulatory reporting is compliant, timely, and accurate.
The successful candidate will guide escalations, manage queues, and maintain service levels. They will collaborate with Financial Crime Operations, Group Tech, Retail and Business Banking, and AUSTRAC, contribute insights to risk committees, and shape responses to emerging AML/CTF trends.
About YouA proven leader with extensive AML, sanctions, or CTF experience, and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and reporting requirements is required. ACAMS or ICA accreditation is a plus. The ideal candidate has led teams of 20+ across multiple locations, communicates clearly, supports their team through challenges, and builds strong stakeholder relationships with regulators and internal partners.
