AML Operations Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AML Operations Lead to join our team. This is a critical role that sits at the heart of operationalising our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for uplifting the maturity of our AML operations by driving process excellence, quality control, training, and performance reporting. This includes leading the design, documentation and continuous improvement of AML processes, developing and embedding a robust AML Operations Quality Control framework, and representing AML Operations in audits, reviews and cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, document and continuously improve AML processes.
  • Develop and embed a robust AML Operations Quality Control framework.
  • Monitor quality performance, analyse trends and drive remediation and uplift activities.
  • Represent AML Operations in audits, reviews and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven AML operational leadership experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian AML/CTF framework and operational best practice.
  • Strong capability in process design, quality frameworks, and performance reporting.
  • Tertiary qualification in a financial crime, business or commerce-related discipline.
