Begin Your Elderly Care Career

No prior experience or qualifications are necessary. You will be part of a supportive team in Cessnock and work towards gaining your Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021).

  • Enter a fully supported employment and training position where you will work and study for 12 months to acquire your qualification.
  • You will be paid to attend training days and learn on the job.
  • Assist elderly individuals in a Residential Aged Care setting with their daily lifestyle and activities.

Our benefits include:

  • A minimum of 15 hours guaranteed per week, with the possibility of working up to 35 hours.
  • A fixed 24-month contract for the traineeship, with set shifts agreed upon by you.
  • Support from our Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and tertiary services throughout your full traineeship.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Having a positive attitude
  • Being reliable
  • Willingness to learn and work
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Valid working rights in Australia and residing in Australia
