Fabrication Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Team Lead to oversee the coordination of fabrication and machining operations. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support team members in achieving quality-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate daily activities to meet delivery timelines and targets.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor output to ensure it aligns with industry standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment and uphold protocols.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with planning, production, and clients to foster clear communication and solve challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience supervising in a fabrication or machining workshop environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of fabrication and machining processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
  • Workforce Leadership: Confident in directing, supporting, and developing workshop employees with fairness, integrity, and motivation.
  • Safety & Compliance Awareness: In-depth knowledge of WHS protocols and the ability to actively promote a safe and respectful workplace culture.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer programs and data entry, including experience navigating ERP systems for production tracking and documentation.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders, build trust, and support team cohesion.
