We are seeking a skilled Heavy Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Gladstone, AU.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in heavy fabrication and repair of equipment using multiple welding techniques.
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to industry standards, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and documentation, and collaborating with a team-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, ability to pass a weld test in MMAW and/or GTAW, experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, great time management and problem-solving skills, and an Engineering Trade Certificate.
Responsibilities:- Fabricate and repair equipment using various welding techniques
- Maintain equipment to industry standards
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and record-keeping
- Collaborate effectively within a team-based setting
- A sound understanding of safety principles - safety first always
- Possess the ability to pass a weld test in MMAW and/or GTAW
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Hold an Engineering Trade Certificate
- Pass a site medical assessment
