Apprentice Fabrication Specialist

In this role, you will combine paid work with hands-on training in a workshop setting. You will have the opportunity to develop skills under the supervision of experienced tradespeople and contribute to fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to contractual obligations as an apprentice
  • Pursue a qualification in certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication trade while working full-time capacity
  • Develop skills under the supervision of different experienced supervisors
  • Assist in fabrication and interpret drawings
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Learn various techniques and meet quality standards
  • Maintain adherence to workplace safety procedures and proactively identify potential hazards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong interest and commitment to apprenticeships in chosen fields
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
  • Reside locally in the Gladstone area
  • A Pre-Apprenticeship (Certificate II in Engineering) beneficial but not essential
