Senior Nurse Opportunity

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a variety of settings including acute mental health units, community health teams, and emergency departments. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

You will also be required to maintain accurate records and reports, adhere to relevant policies and procedures, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mental health nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
