Operations Management Specialist

The facilities management team is seeking a skilled and experienced operations management specialist to oversee the day-to-day operations of industrial spaces. As an operations management specialist, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities in our production, manufacturing, and test support areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations in our industrial spaces consisting of production, manufacturing, and test support.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve workflow efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate with equipment owners on future equipment moves and planning to ensure utilities are available and workflows are efficient.
  • Collaborate with the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure sites are safe and compliant.
  • Maintain fire suppression systems, HVAC, plumbing, water tanks, and other general utility repairs that support our spaces.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting aerospace, defense, automotive, or other types of manufacturing facilities.
  • Technical training in plant engineering or maintenance, or comparable professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Certified Facility Manager credentials a plus.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in management of EHS in a facility.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with operating and maintaining forklifts, aerial man lifts, and overhead gantry cranes and hoists.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Facility or property management/coordinator experience.
  • Experience in managing day-to-day operations and projects.
