About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Enforcement Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory enforcement group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project manage and contribute to the investigation of suspected misconduct in areas that we regulate.
  • Conduct investigative tasks including analysis of large electronic data sets using specific software, drafting/serving compulsory notices, collecting and reviewing documents.
  • Interview and obtain information from a range of witnesses.
  • Identify legal issues and provide legal advice in the course of an investigation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in law.
  • Admission to the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory as a solicitor or barrister.
  • Must hold (or be eligible) a current legal practicing certificate from the relevant State law society.
