Regulatory Enforcement Lawyer
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Enforcement Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory enforcement group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial system.
Key Responsibilities:- Project manage and contribute to the investigation of suspected misconduct in areas that we regulate.
- Conduct investigative tasks including analysis of large electronic data sets using specific software, drafting/serving compulsory notices, collecting and reviewing documents.
- Interview and obtain information from a range of witnesses.
- Identify legal issues and provide legal advice in the course of an investigation.
- Bachelor's degree in law.
- Admission to the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory as a solicitor or barrister.
- Must hold (or be eligible) a current legal practicing certificate from the relevant State law society.
- Collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment.
