Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Implementation Payroll Lead to play a key role in our Workday HCM implementation.

This individual will be responsible for representing Payroll in all implementation workshops, ensuring payroll requirements are communicated and delivered against, making real-time design decisions as they relate to payroll, resolving issues, and escalating critical concerns to the Head of Payroll as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Representing Payroll in all Workday implementation workshops and project meetings.
  • Providing expert input on payroll requirements, ensuring they align with business needs and best practices.
  • Making informed decisions on behalf of Payroll in real time, considering compliance, efficiency, and business impact.
  • Identifying, analysing, and resolving payroll-related issues during the Project.
  • Collaborating with P&C, Finance, Technology, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of payroll and Workday.
  • Escalating critical issues to the Head of Payroll and relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Supporting payroll data migration, validation, and testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Updating documentation of payroll process workflows to reflect future state processes, as required.
  • Training and supporting payroll team members on new processes and system changes.
