About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Product Developer to join our team at Bloomhr. As a key member of our products and training team, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring quality assurance of our workforce planning, vocational education and training products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Develop and review vocational education and training products in consultation with sector stakeholders, including development and review of qualifications, skill sets, units of competency and companion volumes.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders (both online and in-person) to develop and review training products.
  • Content Creation: Draft products end to end and brief and present to a variety of audiences on these products.
  • Consultation and Governance: Follow a consultation and governance process to finalise approvals of products developed; this will include the drafting of associated papers and reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build consensus through negotiation with different stakeholders in the development of product content.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A Certificate IV in Training Assessment and/or a relevant Higher Education qualification.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in the development of qualifications and courses, and/or training and assessment materials. Knowledge of national VET policy including the Training Product Organising Framework including the Standards for Training Packages, Training Package Products Policy and Training Package Products Development and Endorsement Process Policy.
  • Analytical and Negotiation Skills: Ability to analyse information in order to identify options, reach logical conclusions and explain approaches to others. High-level negotiation skills with the ability to reach a consensus with stakeholders while building and consolidating positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to work in a project-based delivery environment and deliver a complex work program.
  • IT Skills: High-level IT skills in a range of software associated with document content management, stakeholder relationship management systems, project management tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Industry Knowledge: Industry knowledge. A demonstrated understanding of industries within our scope, and workforce development issues in these industries is highly desirable.
