Accounts Receivable Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our finance team on a 6 month full time contract in an Accounts Receivable position. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to make a significant contribution to the business by assisting with claims, reconciliations and collections across the NDIS and NDIA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and verify payments to ensure accurate posting to the correct invoice/s
  • Reconcile financial intermediary and plan management customer accounts in MYOB advance
  • Complete administrative functions within the NDIS portal in line with NDIA guidelines
  • Liaise with external service providers regarding invoices and resolving issues as required
  • Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
  • Ensure timely payment of debts, follow up payments as needed and support the month end process
  • Report on Aged Receivables and other ad hoc reporting where applicable

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in NDIS claiming and reconciliation preferred but not essential
  • Experience with accounting systems and processes
  • Exceptional administration skills with strong attention to detail
  • Good time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships
