Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomist/Pathology Collector to join our team in a casual capacity for 3 months.

This role requires flexibility, an ability to travel to all clinics across Sydney, and the delivery of expert support wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform venepuncture and collect blood and other pathology samples from patients
  • Conduct ECGs and fit Holter monitors as required
  • Process pathology specimens in line with protocols
  • Maintain accurate records and complete clerical tasks using basic IT systems
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and medical staff
  • Deliver patient care with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
  • Work efficiently both independently and within a team environment
  • Prioritise workloads and manage time effectively under pressure
  • Adhere strictly to Work Health and Safety guidelines
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Full working rights in Australia – sponsorship not available
  • Current driver's licence, Working With Children Check, and National Police Clearance
  • Certificate III in Pathology Collection
  • Minimum of 12 months unsupervised venepuncture experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and adaptable to changing work locations and priorities
  • Passionate about pathology and delivering exceptional patient care
  • Positive, proactive, and able to work effectively in different clinical environments
