Job Title: Workplace Investigations Manager New

We are seeking an experienced Workplace Investigations Manager to join our team on a 6-month temporary basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing disciplinary and workplace complaints, as well as providing strategic support to our clients.

About the Role:

  • Manage all aspects of staff complaints, grievances, conduct, performance, and disciplinary matters allocated to this role.
  • Undertake preliminary fact-finding, risk assessments, and provide solutions and recommendations to facilitate early interventions and strategies.
  • Conduct and assist with disciplinary or other investigations, inquiries into complaints or reviews, and provide reports and recommendations for consideration.
  • Collaborate with strategic people partners to design, plan, and implement early intervention strategies and solutions to resolve issues relating to professional standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in conducting investigations and managing and overseeing disciplinary and workplace complaints that can result in termination of employment.
  • A strong background in workplace investigations around misconduct, grievances, and performance issues, preferably in the NSW Government sector or other large, diverse, and unionized sectors.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as law, or demonstrated relevant professional experience.
