Job Description

The Senior Project Manager oversees all projects under contract, focusing on maximizing profitability. This role provides leadership and mentorship to operations and field staff while working closely with corporate departments.

The Senior Project Manager takes a lead role in area safety management by identifying trends and supporting safety discussions. They also support the Area Manager in strategic outlook of the Area by evaluating job performance and maintaining crew tracking lists.

This position remains a primary project manager on key projects, gathers information from the operations team, and ensures all Faulconer processes are followed.

Key responsibilities include visiting jobsites weekly, attending daily huddles, safety audits, and project progress meetings. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for hiring, promotion, discipline, and evaluation of office staff, as well as providing accurate job cost tracking and associated Cost-to-Completes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a construction environment.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from various sources, including upper management, other departments, and vendors.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software.
