Home Care Worker Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to provide quality personalised care to our valued aged care clients in their own homes.

About the Role: As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing services such as general household tasks, personal care, meal preparation, social support, respite, and transport to appointments and shopping etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing quality care to clients in their own homes;
  • Assisting with general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathroom & kitchen, changing beds, hanging up washing etc;
  • Providing personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming and toileting;
  • Preparing meals;
  • Providing social support and companionship;
  • Respite care;
  • Transporting clients to appointments and shopping etc.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, an Australian driver's licence, reliable insured motor vehicle, reliability and compassion for the elderly, strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Previous experience as a Home Care Worker will be highly regarded but not required.
