About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee site operations. This critical role involves delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes across fixed and mobile plant assets.
As a senior manager, you will lead operational performance, production delivery, and preventative maintenance within a commitment to Zero Harm.
- Lead and develop a team to achieve safety, productivity, and cost targets.
- Oversee operational planning, production, and maintenance activities to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage forecasting and financial performance.
- Build strong client relationships and manage service delivery requirements.
- Identify and deliver business improvement opportunities.
- Drive employee engagement, workforce development, and compliance with HR and EBA requirements.
- Champion Zero Harm, WHS standards, and statutory obligations under Schedule 26.
About You:
To be successful, you will bring:
- Minimum five years in a senior supervisory or operations management role in mining or processing.
- Strong experience in fixed plant operations, with knowledge of conveying systems, SCADA/PLC control systems, and maintenance management.
- Proven ability to manage costs and profit centre performance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to develop teams and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience, including working directly with clients and regulators.
- Relevant qualifications: Statutory Training for Responsible Managers (Schedule 26) required. Diploma of Leadership/Management or trade qualifications desirable.
