Disability Liaison Officer Grade 3 Position

Alfred Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Disability Liaison Officer Grade 3 to join our team. As a key member of our Allied Health Directorate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that people with disability receive high-quality care and support within our health services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a clinical service to people with disability, providing expert support and guidance to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the leadership of the Disability Liaison Officer Service, providing clinical supervision and support to Grade 2 DLOs.
- Identify and manage quality improvement and service development activities, driving excellence in disability support.
- Provide operational leadership to the team, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Qualifications in nursing or an allied health discipline are desirable, but not essential. Strong consideration will be given to applicants with qualifications in disability and relevant employment experience.
- Applicants with lived experience of disability will be highly regarded, particularly those with experience or understanding of intersectional identities.
- Well-developed leadership skills, including continuous improvement, change implementation, and staff supervision.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal.
- Knowledge and at least 5 years' experience in supporting people with disabilities in health, disability, and/or education settings.
